Quite the journey from working to dead to working for this 3€ Japanese Saturn. Worked fine, recapped PSU and optical drive (fine), recapped mobo (fine, I thought, except no). After setting date, no chime, stuck at initial logo. Couldn't figure out why. Months later VDP rework 🙂

Day 1 with previously used hydrogen peroxide. @A3rgan This technique is really something. I don't know how degraded the H2O2 already was but it still had quite an effect. Trying again tomorrow with the same liquid again. #RETROGAMING #retrobrighting

Day 2, made a difference but not as much as I was hoping for. Since most of this hydrogen peroxide has gone through 4 cycles. Maybe it's time to get some new one. #RETROGAMING #retrobrighting
