Sony — HB-F1XV (MSX2+)
Sound issues on this Sony HB-F1XV MSX2+ traced to the HIC-1 board SMDs, replaced with MLCC caps. Also gained a Carnivore 2 flashcart and a new keyboard PCB.
The original membrane keyboard was replaced as an upgrade, rebuilt from @S0urceror's open-source replacement design. Both gerber sets live in that repo, ready to send to a fab house:
Gerbers/Connector — the connector boardGerbers/MainPCB — the main keyboard matrix boardFab, at least, the connector board at 0.6 mm thickness so it seats in the mainboard's FPC connector. The design targets the HB-F1XD but drops straight into this HB-F1XV.
