This Nintendo Super Famicom (SHVC-001) would not power on due to a failed D1 diode. Tracing and replacing it, plus a recap, had the console booting again.

Super NES non-SHVC SMD Cap Kit from Console5, the replacement capacitors for the recap. The non-SHVC kit is the right one for this unit's SNS-CPU-RGB-01 board.

D1 Schottky diode

onsemi SB20-03P, a 2A / 30V Schottky used to replace the failed D1 reverse-polarity protection diode that had left the console with no power.

#Nintendo Super #Famicom ressurected. It wasn't powering on due to a failure of the D1 diode. Thanks @A3rgan for pointing me to the right part number with the proper specification. #RETROGAMING #LegendofZelda

The underside of the Sharp X68000 Pro II power supply PCB, rested on top of the PSU's metal housing on the floor and being cleaned with a brush and a CompuCleaner air blower; massive electrolyte contamination covers the board, with darkened regions of the PCB and darkened solder joints, grime pooled where the electrolyte ran, and one edge of the board very dark from the contamination.
