Because I can't help myself. I've decided to rescue another Sony PC CRT a CPD-E430. Had someone >300Km away store it for me for a while. Today I went to pick it up. Here are some shots of it. #RETROGAMING #CRT #Sony #PCEngine #Castlevania

E430 seems to have survived the ages better than the G420 then again I did have to run white point calibration to get the G420 working again. What do you guys think? Using some DOA2 for comparison. Am I doing it right @retrotink2? 😄 #RETROGAMING #CRT #Sega #Dreamcast #DOA2

Sony G420 vs Sony E430 vs Philips 109S4, battle of the 19" PC CRTs. One of the Sony ones is going in to storage but I'm having a hard time deciding which. What do you guys think? Which would you keep in your daily setup? #RETROGAMING #CRT #Sega #Dreamcast #SoulCalibur

That's certainly interesting I could get the #Xbox Series X working at 720p and 1080p with my #Sony E430 but the #PlayStation5 just wouldn't display. I might try a different chain of devices later on to see if I can get the PS5 to cooperate. #CRT #gaming
