Three GameCube jewels taken out of their consoles and run through cutting, polishing and finishing pads with the matching Meguiar's compounds, the same materials used on car paint. Not perfect, but a substantial improvement on the swirls and scratches.
Many moons ago, when I was still (only) a 3 GameCube man, I found out you could polish the GameCube jewels. So I took them out of the consoles and got to work on them, with some car polishing materials and pads I had, from Meguiar's. These are the before shots.
These are the after shots. I ran them through the cutting, polishing and finishing pads, with the accompanying materials. While not perfect, the improvement was quite substantial I'd say.
