Sony — PSP 3000
The same re-celling story as the PSP-2000: too-thick cells initially, then an appropriately sized one sourced. One PCB didn't survive the process though.
Well shit... I figured I'd re-cell my #PSP batteries and... They work, the bad news is the cells I ordered are too thick. 😅 Maybe because they are 1800mAh, instead of being 1200mAh like the OEM case says. Although my bulging one had 600mAh printed on. #RETROGAMING #PlayStation
Finally an appropriately sized cell! Sadly, one of the PCBs I originally re-celled no longer works. Cell is fine and even going back to the previous cell with which it had worked doesn't change anything. So I guess I somehow broke it but don't know how. #PlayStation #RETROGAMING
